Pushing On

Yesterday was not a happy day at Cooper Towers. My day started off on the wrong foot when I got an Open University assignment back from my tutor, and she gave me 60%. Apparently she’s a tick-box marking machine and there are few points for creativity, which is odd considering it’s a creative writing course. At least I didn’t get black marks for my spelling! I’ve been studying with the OU for several years now, and I’ve never had a tutor who was even vaguely helpful. Yesterday I was ready to pack the course in, but this morning I have decided (for the time being at least) to push on with it and ignore the bits that involve interacting with my tutor – which is exactly the tactic I used to get me through the other courses I’ve taken. However, this time I am determined not to sign up for any more courses. I’m done.
