Yesterday was a day of hot things. At breakfast time I poured freshly boiled water over my thumb. At lunch time I burned my fingertips on my baked potato and at tea time my thumb (possibly not the same one) got caught in a burst of steam from the new pizza oven.
Having said that, the pizza oven did survive it’s inaugural outing – it produced an edible homemade pizza that was really quite nice, although I overdid the cheese. One day we may have enough space for a cobb pizza oven in the garden, that would be cool, but in the meantime the indoor pizza cooker rules the day!
